Ogres

Hi again – I know these rats I photographed are really cute and look nothing like monsters but they were the only ones that fit the following disturbing quote:

Where rats appear, they bring ruin by destroying mankind’s goods and foodstuffs. In this way, they spread disease, plague, leprosy, typhoid fever, cholera, dysentery, and so on. They are cunning, cowardly and cruel and are found mostly in large packs. Among the animals, they represent the rudiment of an insidious, underground destruction – just like the Jews among human beings. ”  narrative from a documentary made in 1940 by Joseph Goebbels the Minister for propoganda.

Shrek was just a great movie – don’t you think? Every now and then a movie comes out that is different to all the rest and then for the next few years we have sequels and oodles of copy cat movies.  Something rang true in the story line of Shrek – I guess in the end you have to ask yourself who was the Ogre? Was it Shrek or Lord Farquaard?

It seems to me that we have made Ogres out of Gay people – so often people don’t credit them with “higher end” emotions like love – they are more bestial so they lust while we love. They prey on the innocent, our children are not safe. Our society will crumble as they undermine our families.

So who is the Ogre in this picture – the person who is born Gay or the person who spreads propoganda and fear?
